I admit I’ve not used comfrey yet, despite the fact I have an entire cupboard full of other dried herbs for preparations. I had shied away from using it internally during the years of my herbal studies, due to FDA warnings, so I ended up focusing on other herbs. Your great blog has convinced me I need to grow it here on our property and discover ways to use it for our health and first aid—I get poison ivy every year, so I’m excited about the use of comfrey. Yes, I agree it is a beautiful plant!!! I’ll make plans to find a good place around our property to plant it this spring!
