I have thought about the God in the OT vs Jesus. Their characteristics are not the same. The God of the OT doesn't line up with the very definition of Love in the Bible. It's like Jesus and God are opposites.

A man on another platform purchased the Ethiopian Bible. But, I had just finished watching a video about it saying not to purchase it. The English version is not the same. He was disappointed.

There's so much new information coming out that really makes us think. I no longer believe we were born with sin. I don't believe the God in the OT, some call Elohim, Yahweh, or Jehovah, is our Creator-Source. Yahweh is a God of war. Elohim is plural. I questioned the verse where God said "Let us make man in our image...." Who is us and our? I don't believe God was alone in the beginning. I believe there were many others. I also believe the earth was here, but desolate from some other catastrophe. We've had resets before.

Some people laugh when they hear about the Great Awakening. But I believe this is where we are at, and not just about biblical beliefs.

I’ve noticed the difference of the OT and NT differences. I had a time where I was asking to be shown what it meant. I think OT God didn’t understand what it was truly like to be human until Jesus came in the flesh. Then, He understood. Then we got mercy and grace.

I found this video about the "us" in Genesis. See if it helps you out. But I do understand your dilemma. What is true with all the information out there and how to sort it out is tough. As, Dianne always said ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.

It does all work out…good or bad, there is always a New Day and God Said, Lamentations 3:22-24; Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed. Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, “says my soul. “ Therefore I hope in Him”. Amen

Glad it spoke to you! God doesn’t want us worrying all the time. If you look back at life one thing is constant - Everything always works out. And it isn’t us worrying over it that does the working. It’s God!

I found this today. I had read this by another poster a long time ago and didn't save it. The Lords Prayer in Aramaic takes on a different meaning than what we were taught.

I found another interesting writer on here. NABU I NEW EARTH BUILDER. I find more to read with little time to get through them all..lol. The slash is not meaning I. It had his first name with the slash between the description. I don't know if it's needed to search. I don't have the Substack app.
